I am an Integrative Therapist which entails combining a blend of approaches and techniques for your individual journey and healing process. My integrative approach is largely informed by psychodynamic theory but I also integrate other theories such as person-centred, transactional analysis and cognitive behavioural theory.
This flexible and non-prescriptive framework allows us to explore and understand your underlying pattern of being in the world, how your thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and patterns of behaviour shaped by past experiences impact you in the way you relate to yourself and others in the present.
My approach is very much a collaborative experience providing you with an environment that is supportive, secure and contained for you to feel safe enough to explore and make sense of your experiences and internal world and put you on the path towards positive change.
A holistic and personalised approach is delivered through online therapy for loss, where a blend of therapeutic methods is tailored to each individual’s emotional wellbeing and personal journey. Although the practice is grounded in psychodynamic principles, elements of transactional analysis, person-centred therapy, and cognitive behavioural techniques are incorporated to create a flexible and comprehensive therapeutic experience.
Through this adaptive approach, the ways in which past experiences shape current thoughts, feelings, and relationships are explored. Within a safe and supportive online setting, opportunities are provided to deepen self-awareness, encourage positive change, and strengthen healthier coping strategies.
A confidential and nurturing environment is maintained so that emotional balance can be restored and resilience built. By engaging in professional online therapy for loss, individuals are supported in moving towards a more grounded, empowered, and fulfilling life.
If urgent emotional distress is being experienced, immediate help should be sought without delay. Although professional online therapy for loss is provided, anyone facing severe emotional difficulty is advised to contact the Samaritans, who can be reached 24/7 on 116 123 for immediate emotional support.
In the event of an emergency, 999 should be called straight away. Dedicated mental health crisis assistance can also be accessed through the local NHS Crisis Line, where trained professionals are available to offer compassionate and tailored guidance when it is most needed.
