Psychodynamic therapy seeks to explore unhealthy patterns of behaviour created in your childhood and help move you toward positive change. Your journey to a brighter future starts here.
Hello. My name is Rachel and I’m an experienced Integrative Therapist based in Holborn, Central London and Finchley, North London. One of the many useful modalities I integrate into my sessions is Psychodynamic Therapy.
Psychodynamic Therapy weaves together many themes in our therapeutic journey where we explore the impact of our unconscious thoughts on everyday feelings, emotions, and behaviours. It looks at how past experiences and unresolved conflicts from our past can present challenges for us in the way we feel, think and behave and in the way we relate to ourselves and to others in our everyday life as we repeat unhealthy patterns of behaviour.
My interpretation of Psychodynamic Therapy is woven with sensitivity and adaptability and in the safety of our sessions we can gently unearth and make sense of these deeply-rooted narratives, allowing transformative insights and healing to begin.
As an Integrative Therapist, I use Psychodynamic Therapy to navigate challenges like anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, unresolved past issues, and self-esteem concerns. Together in our sessions, we unravel the unconscious patterns influencing you in the here and now to promote healing, understanding and a rejuvenated sense of self in your journey towards wellbeing.

Using a tailored approach I combine Psychodynamic Therapy with Person-Centred, Transactional Analysis and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy into a personalised strategy specifically for you. It is important to tailor each individual’s path to therapeutic healing.
